Steven Group is proud to be a part of the construction of the new $130 million facility for Haigh's Chocolates in partnership with CIP Constructions.

Located in Salisbury South, this project represents a substantial expansion for Haigh’s, allowing them to double their chocolate production capacity. It stands as the largest investment in infrastructure in the history of this iconic family-owned business.

The facility boasts a sprawling site area of 36,000m2, comprising 9,000m2 of production facilities and 6,000m2 of warehousing space. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery including specialized panning, enrobing, and moulding lines, as well as a modern kitchen and packing equipment, this factory is set to revolutionize Haigh’s production capabilities.

Our commercial drafting team dedicated months to meticulously detail 750 tonnes of structural steel. Fabrication commenced in April 2024 at our Workshop facility and is scheduled for completion in July 2024.

The erection phase commences in May 2024, and is expected to conclude by August 2024. A skilled team of Steven employees will be on-site to ensure the successful assembly of the structural steel the structure.

We are dedicated to the continuous collaboration with the CIP Constructions team as we progress with this project for Haigh's Chocolates. At the same time, we take pride in the synergy between Stevens, a South Australian family-owned enterprise, and Haigh's, another esteemed family-owned company from the region.
