Purpose

Stevens Group has a reputation for excellence, and is committed to supplying customers, and clients, with the highest quality product, coupled with an exceptional level of service. As such, Stevens Group manages an ISO 9001 Certified QualityManagement System to ensure that these expectations are achieved, and the high standards of excellence are maintained and improved.

Scope

The Stevens Group QMS is structured to support the commercial function of the organisation, and is built around the management of four key processes:

  • Business Development
  • Coordination and Detailing
  • Processing and Fabrication
  • Distribution and Installation

Policy

Stevens Group QMS incorporates a risk-based, process approach to quality.

Customer orientated, internal objectives, have been developed by aligning business objectives with the external industry climate, ensuring a holistic approach to improvement is adopted across the organisation. Through regular review, and continuous improvement initiatives, Stevens Group seek to drive positive change within the company whilst adding value to the industry. The essential elements of this system are outlined below:

  • Quality risks and objectives will be defined using risk-based methodology to identify opportunities for improvement. The objectives set will be measurable, transparent, seeking to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Quality objectives and performance will be communicated throughout the organisation with all workers understanding their role in the Quality Management System
  • Adequate resources will be appropriated available to meet system requirements and industry best practice
  • Workers will be empowered to drive change from within through consultation and process review
  • Appropriate, regular instruction, training and supervision will be provided to workers to verify competence, and promote a workplace that is conducive to healthy, safe, and environmentally sustainable work and industry best practiceSuppliers will be pre-qualified and reviewed to ensure that Stevens Group’s high standards of quality and service are reflected throughout the supply chain in order to best meet customer requirements
  • Periodical assessment of the Quality Managrment Plan will be conducted through internal and external reviews to verify compliance and drive process improvements
